Biography

Leke Da Loco is a DJ and producer from Berne / Switzerland who was born in winter 1988. Early in life he discovered his love for music and decided to become a DJ in 2005. Just half a year after he had bought his first DJ equipment he made his debut in nightlife. From day one he enjoyed being in clubs and burning the candle at both ends with party people in different clubs. His youthful enthusiasm quickly rubs off on the crowd. That's how every night with him becomes a great experience.

You can tell by his dedication to music how much he loves what he's doing. He has also invested a lot of time in his activity and developed an own style. Today Leke Da Loco stands for groovy, percussive, electronic dance tunes. By playing regularly in locations like Club Q, Supermarket, OXA, Via Felsenau, Formbar and Para, he got the opportunity to work together with artists such as Matthias Tanzmann, Deetron or Onur Özer. To be able to play the music he likes best and identifies with, he decided in 2007 to construct a music studio and produce his own music. Half a year later he had already done it. The very first Leke Da Loco release was born.

His Remix of Kellerkind’s „Bergluft“ was released by the Swiss label Sirion Records and reached the Top 30 of the Beatport Charts. In addition he was lucky to awake the attention of John Digweed, who played the song in his radio broadcast "Transitions" on "Kiss100".

Shortly after that, Sirion-Records released Leke Da Loco’s "Osmose-EP", which was also successful in the Beatport Charts. Followed by his "Joga Bonito EP", that was released by Ahmet Sendils M-Vitamine Recordings. Further releases such as „Final Round“ and „RAV“ were released by Florian Meindl’s and Oliver Koletzki’s FLASH Digital Records. „Final Round“ was even able to awake the attention of Anthony Rother, who added this song to his „fusepresentsanthonyrother“ Mix-Compilation. In spring 2009 he remixed Alex Costa's "Turin", which was released by Presslab Recordings and Carlos Russo's "Massive Joy", that was released by Enormous Tunes and was even played by Radio NRJ in Moscow.

Today Leke Da Loco enjoys producing and playing his own music. So whoever loves music as much as him, shouldn't miss the parties, which this exceptional talent is rocking!
